Core Competencies: Experiential Marketing, End-to-End Event Production, Creative Direction, Brand Strategy, Community Activation, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Scaling
Snag is a premier live-painting art raffle event and cultural staple that has driven community engagement in Vancouver, BC, for over a decade. Stepping in to take full operational reins, I produced, creative directed, and scaled over 60 distinct themed art activations and high-volume events.
My mandate focused on transforming the recurring series into a highly structured, scalable experiential property. This involved overseeing end-to-end event production, establishing institutional partnerships with local venues like The Cobalt and The American, and directing an evolving visual identity system across a multi-year roadmap. By designing high-impact event layouts, managing interactive on-site activations (such as live mural battles and art raffles), and maintaining a cohesive digital presence, the series successfully connected thousands of regional attendees with local artists, establishing a sustainable ecosystem for organic brand visibility and community trust.
Managing an active multi-year event calendar required a highly flexible yet cohesive visual identity system. I conceptualized and executed dozens of bespoke event posters, digital assets, and dedicated marketing collateral tailored to distinct event themes, ranging from specialized tattoo showcases like ‘INKed’ to holiday pop-up markets. Every asset was structurally unified by a core brand framework, ensuring instantaneous regional recognition across wild variations in typographic layout, illustration style, and color theory.

The on-site experience was engineered around active participant throughput and real-time gamification. I designed spatial venue layouts that balanced high-traffic bar operations with dedicated experiential zones, including low-friction raffle ticket stations, live-model sketching circles, and high-visibility ‘Arena Mural Battles’. By orchestrating clear site navigation, technical lighting cues, and interactive programming, each activation turned passive venue guests into active, high-intent event participants.
