Core Competencies: Experiential Marketing, End-to-End Event Production, Cross-Functional Leadership, Budget Management, Scaling Live Activations
Alchemy was an immersive experience designed to challenge traditional event formats by merging fine art and elite mixology into a singular narrative framework. Built around the organic design principles of Art Nouveau, the live activation paired four local artists with four premier bartenders to interpret the classical elements simultaneously in real time. The strategy transformed separate creative disciplines into a cohesive, interactive environment that significantly deepened guest engagement and maximized on-site commercial opportunities.
175% TARGET ATTENDANCE ACHIEVED: Smashed the initial 200-person goal, drawing 350+ attendees over each 6-hour live window.
100% COMMERCIAL LIQUIDATION: Sold out all event tickets and menu items, maximizing commercial profit margins.
100% FINE ART LIQUIDATION: Auctioned and sold all original artwork painted live on-site, utilizing a strategic revenue-share model that fully funded artist production materials and marketing overhead.
Every day, people consume cocktails and view art in silos. The goal of Alchemy was to shatter those boundaries by designing a live, immersive experience that showcased the parallel processes of mixology and fine art in real time.
Alchemy was built on a simple premise: take ordinary, everyday experiences and transform them into something extraordinary through deliberate, immersive framing. The challenge was translating this high-concept artistic vision into a financially viable, repeatable, and operationally seamless event series.
To bring the concept to life, the event was designed around sensory synchronization. Attendees didn’t just look at a canvas or sip a drink; they witnessed the live, parallel creation of both.
The Curated Vibe: Developed a comprehensive creative mood board to dictate the aesthetic, lighting, and layout, ensuring a premium feel.
Strategic Partnerships: Hand-picked and briefed local Vancouver artists, DJs, and top-tier bartenders to ensure their live contributions aligned flawlessly with the overarching event theme.
The Experience Flow: Rather than a static gallery, the venue was mapped out to create an active user journey. Guests moved naturally between live-painting workstations, high-energy mixology bars, and social pockets.
Executing a multi-sensory live activation required managing intense operational friction while maintaining premium brand standards. Acting as both Event Producer and Head Bartender, I engineered a repeatable operational blueprint designed for maximum efficiency and low overhead.
Guests watched four original paintings evolve over each event, transforming finished artwork into live performance.
Each bartender interpreted the same elemental theme through an original cocktail, making the creation process as engaging as the final drink.

Alchemy required a visual identity that captured its core concept while creating a cohesive experience across every audience touchpoint. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms of Art Nouveau and the symbolism of the four classical elements, I developed a visual identity that extended from event promotion through to the on-site experience.
Every asset was designed to reinforce the same narrative, creating a recognizable and immersive brand that built anticipation before the event and carried through every stage of the guest experience.
By transforming two independent creative disciplines into a shared live experience, Alchemy demonstrated how a shared creative framework can transform independent disciplines into a cohesive community experience, creating deeper engagement than traditional event formats.
